To Heitor Villa-Lobos - 12-05-2020
Concerts Spirituels open the cycle with a program addressed to the piano compositions of Heitor Villalobos, the well-known Brazilian composer who could combine the trends of Impressionism with the popular music of his homeland. At the same time, this repertoire reflects the influence of the master of the masters of all times, Johann Sebastian Bach.

To Maurice Ravel - 12-06-2020
The second concert of the Concerts Spirituels has a program dedicated to Maurice Ravel with two pieces that in their very origin were ballet music and with time they had their soul beyond dance. Without a question, Valses Nobles et Sentimentales and Le Tombeau de Couperin transcended in history as two of the most inspired by Ravel’s works of music.

Beethoven and Schubert - 01-23-2020
The third part of Concerts Spirituels has a program that combines the music of two early romantic composers, Beethoven and Schubert, at the very beginning of The Golden Age of Piano. Beethoven’s Variations and Schubert’s Sonata represent the genres more cultivated during Romanticism, the Theme and Variations and the well-established Sonata.

Romantic Impressions - 01-24-2020
The fourth concert of the Concerts Spirituels contains music linked to France, which played an important role in the development of Romanticism and the birth of Impressionism. This repertoire is an exciting promenade, along with composers of the Romantic period, towards the twentieth century.
