Two virtuosos, Polish violinist Anna Orlik and Swiss cellist Constantin Macherel, explore the rarely played pearls of violin and cello repertoire by Bach, Nielsen, Sibelius, Paganini, Beethoven and many others. Anna and Constantin are the winners of international competitions, graduated from the prestigious schools: The RAM London and the International Menuhin Music Academy in the class of Maxim Vengerov and Maurice Hasson (Anna), and The Music Academy Basel and the ZHdK in the class of Ivan Monighetti and Raphael Wallfisch ( Constantin). Both have performed as a soloists in prestigious venues and festivals worldwide of Europe, South America, Africa: Victoria Hall Geneva, Auditorio Santa Ursula Lima (Peru), Menuhin Forum Bern, the Gstaad Menuhin Festival, Crans Montana Classics and the Menuhin Forum Bern, and others. Constantin's first CD (Claves records) as soloist with the London Mozart Players, was gratified in 2019 with 5 diapasons and praised by international critics.
